Automatic Bumper Release Hoppers for Forklift Scrap Dumping

H-style bump and dump self-dumping hoppers provide fast, controlled material discharge for scrap, chips, waste, parts, and bulk materials. Designed for manufacturing plants, warehouses, fabrication shops, recycling areas, construction sites, and maintenance departments, these forklift hoppers help improve dumping efficiency while keeping operators at the fork truck controls.

Automatic Bump and Dump Operation

The bumper release design automatically activates dumping when the rear edge of the hopper contacts the dumpster or discharge point. A manual cable is also included, allowing the forklift operator to dump the hopper from the seat when needed. After dumping, the hopper returns to an upright and locked position.

Low Profile Steel Construction

The low profile design supports easier loading and better visibility during material handling. Capped fork pockets provide a secure lifting foundation, while a safety restraint helps secure the hopper to the fork truck during dumping. A cushioned rubber bump stop helps absorb impact during automatic release operation.

Duty Levels, Sizes, and Colors

This family includes 1 cubic yard and 1-1/2 cubic yard models in light duty 12 gauge, medium duty 10 gauge, and heavy duty 8 gauge steel construction. Capacities range from 2,000 lb. to 6,000 lb. Multiple color options are available to support facility organization, material identification, and safety programs.

Hopper(s) must not be used by rough terrain lift trucks or telehandlers (boom trucks). ONLY use this hopper with high lift fork trucks having a vertical mast and carriage.
Hoppers must not be mounted on stackers or on manually operated or propelled lift trucks.
While a hopper is mounted on the forks of a high lift truck, only operate the truck on concrete or asphalt surfaces DO NOT operate the truck carrying this hopper on unimproved surfaces.
