A drum adapter is specifically designed to hold and support drums during loading, unloading, and transport. Each drum adaptor is adjustable, so you can better secure your specific drum size. A few varieties are listed below: FDA-550 can assist in the lifting of 30 and 55 gallon fiber and plastic drums. This design includes the adaptor unit, only. FDA-800 can also assist in the lifting of 30 and 55 gallon drums. This model is compatible with steel, fiber, and plastic drums. Also, included in this SKU is a nylon strap (FDA-250) to even further secure your drum! Unfortunately, a drum adapter cannot be used as a stand-alone product. Models FDA-550 and FDA-800 must be utilized in conjunction with Vestil skus: HDC-305-XX, HDC-450-XX, DCR-205-XX, DCR-110-XX, and DCT-XX The FDC-30 attaches to the inner rim of the drum saddle so a 30 gallon steel, fiber, or poly drum can be used. In any application where it is used with fiber or poly drums, it MUST BE used in conjunction with the adjusting arms (either the FDA-550 or FDA-800 models). |
