Portable Tripod Hoist Stands for Confined Space and Field Lifting SupportTripod hoist stands provide a portable overhead lifting support for confined space access, maintenance work, utility applications, construction support, and industrial material handling tasks. Designed to fold for transport and storage, these tripod stands create an economical lifting point where a permanent crane or fixed hoist support is not available. Steel and Aluminum ConstructionThis family includes steel tripod models with 2,000 lb. capacity and aluminum tripod models with 1,000 lb. capacity. Steel construction provides higher load support, while aluminum construction offers a lighter option for applications where portability and setup efficiency are important. Fixed and Adjustable Height ModelsAdjustable height models allow the eyelet height to be set for different lifting clearances, access points, and terrain conditions. Fixed height models provide a simple support stand for consistent work areas. Eyelet heights range from approximately 104 inches to 165-3/4 inches, depending on model. Portable Setup and Ground ContactEach tripod includes a swivel eye bolt and safety chain for secure hoist setup. Pivoting feet allow users to select smooth contact surfaces for concrete or asphalt, or spiked feet for rough terrain and loose ground. Chain hoists are sold separately, and the design meets ANSI Z117.1 confined space safety requirements. |
